Black Friday

It's Over and Done.
I look forward to Black Friday shopping all year long! What is it about getting up so early, or this year not even going to bed at all to go shopping? I'm not sure that I have the answer to that, although there is something about waiting in forever long lines, Freezing half to death, just for the moment when those doors fly open and people flood in as fast as they possibly can. It's EXHILARATING!!
We have been going for several years and almost every year we have been successful when it comes to get the things we've waited in line for.
This was not too different , we headed to Wal-Mart at about 10:45 p.m. and got the "wanted items", and then some. Then it was home for a few minutes, to drop off the goods, then off to Target. The line went on forever and ever. I decided that I didn't want to walk all that way so I went back to the car to wait for the group to come around the corner, While waiting, Some awesome guy yelled "Hey lady in the orange coat, get to the F-ing back of the line. Nice right?? SO RUDE!
I wanted to punch him! but I just ignored him instead. That's more Christlike right?
Anyways I love going and spending time with the family and all the other crazies, saving loads of cash!
Until Next Year. Farewell Black Friday. It was FUN!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

I love the Holidays, and I always look forward to spending time with my family.
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. We always get together and spend thanksgiving at my grandma and grandpa Chandler's house. We have little family traditions, Like the "Kid" table. Always an exciting thing when you graduate to the Big table. Another tradition is The "Goblets," ever since I can remember we've used these glass goblets and although they aren't super fancy or anything, it's just Tradition.  We also prepare for "Black Friday" shopping by searching ads for the best deals and map out all the game plans of who's going where, what time and who's crazy enough to go stand in line for hours to freeze our butts off. Gotta Love It!    So grateful for all the things that I have been blessed with. I really am So Lucky
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!

SNOW, SNOW, AND MORE SNOW!!!

I know that living in Idaho for all my life, that I shouldn't be surprised that we have Snow and Lot's of it. But REALLY!  It started snowing Saturday morning and today is Tuesday and it's still snowing!
UGH, I know that we need the moisture and it's pretty and all, but it's cold and wet, and icy, and did I mention COLD!
I remember being a kid and being so Excited for the snow to come, so we could go sledding and build snowmen and have snowball fights and just plain freeze our butts off while we played with our friends outside. Now I can't wait for it to melt, so we can have spring time! This is all just wishful thinking because this is really the first big snowstorm of the season! I guess I should just prepare for more and try to make the best of it!  Right?

GRATITUDE

During the Thanksgiving holiday, it's easy to see all the things we have to be grateful for. I think it's funny that we should always show gratitude. but sometimes we forget or just get so used to seeing all we have and we forget the importance of gratitude.I have so many things to be Grateful for. I figured I'd share 10 of the things I'm most grateful for.

1. My Family. I have 2 of the best parents(Of course I'm biased) 3 brothers, 1 older, 2 younger and I love them all. And 1 sister, she's pretty great too. I also am grateful for my extended family.  I love being a Chandler, Although, I have never really met my mom's family, I know that someday I'll have the opportunity to meet them.

2. The Gospel. I'm so grateful for the Savior and for the Atonement of Jesus Christ and the opportunity that I have to be a member of the LDS church and for all the blessings that have come into my life from being a member.

3. My Niece. I Love this girl! I'm so lucky that she lives close and I get to spend lots of time with her.

4. My friends. I have some great friends, who have always been examples to me and have showed me lots of support when I need it. They are the best!

5. My church calling. I love being in the Relief Society Presidency. This calling has helped me get to know the sisters in a different way, and also gives me the opportunity to give service.

6. My Job. I'm truly grateful to have a job that I love! I get to go to work everyday and spend time with some of the sweetest kids, sometimes not so sweet, but I love them just the same. I'm grateful to work with
the little Pre-Schoolers.

7. My Home. Right now I live at Willow's so technically I have 2 houses!! I'm grateful to know I have somewhere warm to go on cold days and a safe place to spend time.

8. Material Possessions. I know that probably sounds shallow, but I love the materialistic things of life. They truly make my life happy.

9.  Time. I love time, Time spent with family and friends, time spent sleeping, time spent outdoors, time spent giving service. time doing crafts and fun projects.

10. Outdoors. I love spending time outside when it's warm. Fishing, camping, gardening, playing in the pool, sun tanning, playing with the kids. I just love the warm sunshine!

So many things to be Thankful for. I love this time of year!

Life is Fun

So I survived the dreaded birthday and now I am officially 29 plus 1.
I had a great birthday! although my cake sank in and the peanut butter Mousse filling was not light and airy, it was like Paste, and I cried like a girl! Don't judge me! It was my Party and I could cry if I wanted to and so I did, and then I laughed at what a Dork I am and they bought a store bought cake,so my birthday wouldn't be ruined! So long story short, Now we have 2 cakes sitting around, and for someone on a health challenge that's a BAD idea!
I'm so excited to go Tanning, and eat my Pineapple and "Baby Bananna''s and wear my warm fuzzy pink socks, while listening to music with my new headphones, and so many other fun Presents! I think I've got the Best Family!
The Blue team is plugging away and working hard to get our points for this 1st week. I'm almost ready to share my bonus challenge goals for week 1. Stay Tuned.
The Headaches continue and I freaked myself out by watching Chiropractor adjustments, so I'm waiting on getting back my courage to go that route. Also I wish I was more secure in my Body image because I could get a  free massage to see if that would help the tension in my neck. But the thought of being Half Naked in my neighbors house just isn't gonna happen!
So All in All Life is FUN!!

ALMOST 30!!

I can't believe that I am almost 30! So Freaking Scary!
I remember being a little girl and hearing someone say that they were 30 and that just seemed SO OLD to me, I never thought that I would be 30 because maybe I just didn't want to be old!
Well there is no stopping it now. Tomorrow when I wake up I will officially be 30. GULP!!!!!
I am trying to make the best of it and remember age is only a number!!  Right?
I have been telling people that I'm trying to forget about this birthday. But how can you forget the day of your birth? Well I don't remember much that day but I'm sure my mom can remember way back. So Thanks MOM!
I guess I'll just suck it up and enjoy it! And who says you can't have your cake and it it too. Cuz I'm so planning on it. Bring on the Heaven and Hell cake. I hope it's as good as it looks!!
Because you only turn 30 once right?

Health Challenge Day 1

It all begins today! Healthy Living, Eating Right, Exercising, No Sweets(Big Gulp), No Eating after 9(Double Gulp) and just plain being responsible for taking care of this body of mine. I will be completely honest here, I prepared for this challenge by consuming a few of my favorites. PEANUT BUTTER M&M's, Chocolate Milk and Monster Cookies, Not all at the same time. Because that would just be gross! HA HA.
I didn't eat any treats during the whole 8 week challenge last time and I plan on being almost as good. I will have 2 treat days in November(My Birthday and Thanksgiving and 1 in December(Christmas). That's it!!!
I want to feel motivated for this challenge like I did for challenge #1 but right now I just don't think it's gonna happen. I really feel pretty crappy and am so tired. I plan on working as hard as my body will let me. I made a goal to get all my points again and I'm gonna bust my butt to do it.  Whatever I have to do!!
My motto for this Challenge is Make It Blue !!!!

Saturday is a Special Day!!

Oh Saturdays are usually a busy day filled with Cleaning, Laundry, Shopping and such and today was not much Different. Busy that is!!
I started my day off at a Auxiliary Training meeting, Can I just say I'm not a Meeting kinda Girl,  Well at least not a 2 Hr meeting. Don't get me wrong it was good,  Just LONG!   Then is was off to a Basketball game, Can I just say watching little kids play sports always makes me Smile. They just want to win so bad and some of them are just Clueless, Like for example when the little boy gets the Basketball and he's so stinking proud of himself that he doesn't realize or hear his Coach yelling "Hey It's The Other Way." Classic. Well they didn't win but it was fun to watch anyways!! My next stop was Pet Co, Nathan needed some Lizard supplies and I some Crickets for Millie and Rodger(The Baby Turtles). As I was walking around the Corner I saw HIM!! He had curly brown hair, Big brown Eyes and I wanted him!! He was the Cutest dang Dog I've ever seen(Next to Lola). He is a Spaniel Mix named Murphy and he just had one of those faces! You know the face that says "Please oh Please take me out of this cage and take me home with you!!"  It's a good job that I'm strapped for cash because if not Murphy would probably be sitting on my lap as I sit here and type this. I so hope that Murphy can find a good home. I hate being POOR!!  Next we headed to the Library, Not my favorite place, but Ashley needed to get some books. While we drove around looking for a spot for like 5 minutes I saw a man that gives me the CREEPS !! He used to go to the same church,  He asked me out. I said No and he cried. Sad for him!! Scary for me!! And he also informed me once that all he wanted in life was to Marry a Mormon Girl and have Lots of Babies.  EWWWW!!  I was happy to see that he had found himself a nice girl. I hope they will be so happy together with ALL their children.
A couple of things that I realized as I was out and about on my shopping trips were that.  1. I'm SO glad that I don't Smoke, because just walking past the outside Ashtrays makes me want to puke. So Stinky. 2. Eating Peanut Butter M&M's makes me happy and they just taste so Dang good. And last but not least 3. I wish I had a Never ending checking Account where I could spend and spend and never have to worry about hearing the word Card Denied! Wouldn't that be SO Great!!!
All I have to say is Never a Dull Saturday!!

No Stress?? Right

So the Doctor told me to try to eliminate undue stress from my life! I typically don't feel like I am a stressed out person, but last night while I was trying to relax, kicked back watching Grey's Anatomy, My cell phone rang and normally I don't answer it, if it's a number I don't recognize, because hey if the want to they can leave a message and if I know who it is I will call them back, but I felt like I needed to answer it, so I jumped off the couch and said HELLO. Then the Stress began, it was Assure link(the Medical button people) saying my Grandma had pushed her button and they thought that maybe she had fallen. They weren't able to hear her well enough to know what had happened!   Well a call like this sends me into Panic mode!!! What am I gonna find when I get there?? Well Ashley and I raced over to find Willow (My Nickname for Grandma) sprawled out on the floor. She had gotten up to go to bed and was half asleep and fell on the floor! Thankfully she was not hurt, just a little scared. I'm so grateful that she was Okay, She is getting pretty frail and a fall like that could really be bad for her.  So Glad that you were not hurt Willow!! And Thanks for helping me remain Stress free!! HA HA

The Results

My Results are In!!
The nurse called to inform me yesterday that the results of my Thyroid Ultrasound are in and they look good to her! She said the Dr will read them when he returns, but for now she thinks they look good! Such a RELIEF!!
I'm so grateful for supportive people, who've been worried and have prayed for me to get good results. Knowing that something could be wrong is scary and nerve wracking but knowing that prayers are answered helps A LOT! So Thanks everyone! My "Brain" still hurts really bad most of the day, but I'm sleeping better, thanks to the Pain/Sleeping pills. I just really hope that my Thyroid levels can be evened out and I can start feeling better, I'm literally so Tired of being Tired. I just want to feel normal again!

Waiting Game!

Today was the big Ultrasound!   Are you thinking what I think your thinking??   WRONG :)
I went in to get an Ultrasound on my throat, to check out why my Thyroid is so freaking big!
So after waiting for about 1/2 hr they called me back and had me lay on this nice comfy table :) squished some nice cold jelly on my throat and proceeded to run the ultrasound wand over my neck, I almost laughed a few times, but I held it together. I asked the nurse a few questions to which she answered all of the with "Oh you'll have to ask your doctor, or you'll have to have your Dr. explain that. Except when I asked "well can you tell me what the red and blue stuff on that image is an she finally answered oh it's just blood!! well is that good I asked. I bet you can't guess her reply!! If you guessed that I have to discuss it with my Dr. Then you are Right!!  Ugh why is everything a secret? So the results? Well I won't know now until next week. AAAAHHHHHH!! My Dr. is out of town all next week so it's just the good ole Waiting game for me!! SO now I can just keep on worrying. Fun Right? Wrong Again.
I think that the Lord wants me to learn a little somethin about Patience. So here goes, until next week that is!!

Exhausted

Can I just say I'm Exhausted!
So I have had a headache for the past 3 weeks and I'm so tired of feeling crappy. With a lot of worry and pressure from people who love and care about me. I finally scheduled an appointment with a Doctor!
I went to see Dr. Ward and after a brief visit, he thinks that I probably have Tension Headaches and he also reviewed my blood work and decided that I need to have an Ultrasound to see what's up with my Thyroid.
I can honestly say I'm Freaking out. I know that it will all work out and that nothing bad will happen. I just hope that the medicine that I've been prescribed will help regulate things and get them back to normal soon, so I can finally start feeling better.
I guess I'll know more next week!
